Are you a school teacher in Australia willing to share your hard-earned experience of grappling with the Australian curriculum?
Who are we?
Testmate is an independent Australian user research company founded in 2015. We provide professional user research for a wide range of clients including commercial organisations, charities and government entities.
We have been employed by The Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) to evaluate the official website for the new version of the Australian curriculum.
How can you help?
We are looking for school teachers who have taught foundation to grade 10 to help us understand what it is doing well, and where it could be improved, based on the practical needs of teachers at different stages throughout a school year.
We are looking to gather the data during April.
If you want to get involved you can use the following online survey to volunteer: www.testmate.com.au/optin-curriculum-0425
If you have colleagues who might want to help, feel free to pass on the details.
If you have any questions you can email recuiter@testmate.com.au

There are two different ways you can be involved.
Unmoderated sessions: You can take part in an unmoderated usability session where you video record your screen and voice while completing a set of tasks. This should take around 25-30 minutes and you would be paid $45 for your time.
Moderated sessions: You can take part in a moderated usability session conducted over a Google Meets video call. You would share your screen while interacting with the website, sharing your insights. The session would be recorded but your face, name and identifying information would be removed. The sessions take around 45-55 minutes and you would be paid $75.
We take our ethical obligations to you very seriously.
- Participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time, for any reason, with or without explanation.
